Week Recap

Yes, our weeks start at random days and so I guess end at random days. There has been goat-walking.

Lots of cuddling.

Studying.

Hancock's winter frolic happened this past weekend. And you know what that means--sled races out of cardboard and duct tape, beer tasting, and most importantly, broomball. Broomball is like ice hockey but with brooms and boots instead of hockey sticks and skates. Kenzie played defense and I played offense against the young children. My other front line teammate was super gay and Kenzie and I tried to make her into our friend but alas, we didn't really get past, "Nice pass!" It felt good to be at a community event and see all of these people who were some kind of neighbors.

I am applying to be the executive director (apparently, I found that out after I was meeting with the director) at the Cornucopia Project and Kenzie and I were invited to a community film-showing there of FRESH (which is very good by the way) and it turns out we already knew 5 of the 10 people there between the farmer's market and the winter frolic.

There is a blizzard today which stopped me from driving out to babysit and instead I spent the day scampering the woods with Chance and writing a Valentine's Day pantoum in the nook of my desk. I really can't complain. Shh don't tell Kenzie.
