I have no idea.
Honestly, I had to look at photos on my phone to remember. We hope that our blogging discipline will improve. We are both juggling a variety of responsibilities so blogging has been moved to the backseat, then to the trunk...we refuse to throw it on the side of the road. After all, we don't approve of littering. And blogging is a great approach to gratitude. Everyday has special moments and those moment live forever once you put them in writing. I find that writing also helps my head and heart remember. So, with the help of my phone. Here are some highlights. In summary, we are surrounded by towers of snow, sharing small spaces inside, schooling/networking, getting to the neighbors/community, and goating. I made that last word up, but I'm from MN so I can do that. Goating. It encapsulates so much. So, here it is...with extra material in captions.
1. We play
| This was before we knew we passed the Chance trial period. I started giving him new toys from my own stash. |
| We are getting so much snow that it is easier to x-country ski to the post office. Chance likes to pull Stacia. |
| Chance acquired a slew of new toys this past week with the good news. So, it's okay that he destroyed my kick ball. |
2. We study.

3. We get close.
| Have you heard of a butt snuggle? Email Stacia and Chance for directions. |
| Chance likes to fall asleep during a good belly rub. |
| Sometimes Chance is annoyed by our adoration. |
| Couch exit strategy involves a good 15 second stretch before dragging our feet away. This dog is funny. |
4. We eat.
| Lamb bones are a nice distraction when we leave for work. Like me, Chance doesn't like getting his hands sticky while eating. |
| If homemade soup wasn't a symbol of love already. |
| Going crazy for meat at Sunnyfield Farms. Stacia insisted on sheep heart and tongue for Chance, bacon, and sheep bones. I thought this cat was a stuffed animal until it open one eye during bacon weighing. |
| Homemade sour dough bread. Stacia has a made a darling starter that demand attention everyday. |
| Look at those homemade noodles! |
4. We celebrate Valentine's Day. Chance is a keeper! We celebrated with a long hike together before leaving Chance at home to go out for a fancy dinner. These pictures come from our second V-day when Betty and Mark (my mom and dad) sent a holiday care package.
| The jacket made Chance feel a little claustrophobic, but Stacia promises we can make some alterations. |
| Mom knows my fashion weakness. Sunglasses. |
| Stacia is excited to celebrate twice. Betty didn't miss a beat. She even included a solar powered table light. Thx parents! |
Thanks Thanks Thanks for sharing. Was so missing the news. YAY!! adoption sanctified. What a character. Love the pics. We are still here. Looking for dry skies before driving south. Sat looks clear so far. Please come and stay anytime you're around. The house will love the company. May-be kev and I could come stay at the bed and breakfast for a night when we get back. Am dying to check out the farm in the flesh. xo juli
